Victory Gymnastics is located in sunny southern California, located 30 minutes to Malibu beach, and 45 minutes to Santa Barbara or Los Angeles.
Our host gym makes an ideal location to getaway and spend some time at our beautiful beaches on this long weekend.

Miss Val
FOUNDER
Valorie Kondos Field, aka Miss Val, is a legendary, Hall of Fame gymnastics coach who never tumbled, flipped, or competed in organized sports. Yet, through curiosity, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to her athletes’ well-being, she built an extraordinary coaching career.
As head coach of UCLA Women’s Gymnastics, Miss Val led the team to seven NCAA Championships, 22 Regional titles, and 18 Pac-12 Championships. A four-time National Coach of the Year, she was also named Pac-12 Coach of the Year, West Region Coach of the Year, and “Coach of the Century.”
Guided by her mentor, legendary coach John Wooden, Miss Val used gymnastics as a platform to teach life lessons. She shaped her program into a life skills class, mentoring Olympians and student-athletes with a philosophy that extended far beyond sports.
In her book, Life is Short, Don’t Wait to Dance, she shares personal stories, leadership insights, and how her battle with breast cancer became one of the most transformative years of her life. Now retired from coaching, Miss Val continues to inspire as a dynamic speaker, mentor, and entertainer.

Amber Lyftogt
FOUNDER
Amber and her husband Joel own Victory Gymnastics and she has coached all competitive levels (2-10) for the last 10 years.
She is also a Posture Alignment Specialist and has 15 years experience in the wellness industry. Amber has helped clients, celebrities and elite athletes with performance, weight loss and living a pain free lifestyle.
Amber has travelled to train clients all over the world in Kuwait, Bahrain, Greece, London, Paris, Canada and Hawaii to name a few amazing places. She enjoys hosting workshops and retreats worldwide, but she is very passionate about helping people alleviate pain locally in the gymnastics community.
She has also been featured as a trainer for Tony Robbins Life & Wealth Mastery Program, The European Channel, Japan Fitness, L.I.F.E, Livestrong and Fabletics.
When not training, Amber enjoys spending time with her family, 5 kids, and of course, traveling to tropical destinations!

Maisy Dunne
Maisy Dunne is a Professional Dancer based out of Los Angeles, California. Maisy’s been fortunate enough to have worked with artists: Doja Cat, SZA, Natasha Bedingfield, a collab with Kygo and Whitney Houston and more. She just returned from a National Tour with the Masked Singer, along with the Women's Olympic Gymnastics Team starring Simone Biles, in which she was the dance captain for both. Maisy has performed in Campaigns for the brand Gucci. You will also see her in Music Videos, as well as Live Performances such as the Grammys and Billboard Music Awards.

Ian Gunther
Ian Gunther is a gymnast and social media content creator with over 3.5 million followers. Known for his blend of fun and educational content, Ian aims to broaden the sport’s appeal and inspire new audiences.
A seasoned gymnast, Ian's accolades include 4 NCAA team championships, 10 NCAA All-American honors and 3 NCAA Conference Individual Championships. A former member of the USA Men's National Team, Ian's journey from elite gymnast to influential content creator reflects his dedication and passion for the sport.
Through his online platforms, Ian continues to motivate and educate, transforming his athletic prowess into a powerful tool for promoting gymnastics and encouraging others to pursue their own passions within the sport.

JaNay Honest
JaNay started gymnastics at the age of 5, with the dream of becoming a Bruin by the time she got to middle school. At UCLA, as a walk-on athlete, she became the 2016 PAC-12 Uneven Bar Co-Champion, 2018 National Champion, and one she is particularly proud of, earning a scholarship in her senior year. After graduating, she entered the sports broadcasting realm with PAC-12 Networks, earning her an Emmy award. And since then has added Big Ten Network and FOX to her resume. Remaining involved in her active lifestyle, she refocused her time and energy towards a huge passion, dance and choreography. Traveling around the country as a choreographer, appearing in various commercials, projects, and a music video. JaNay went to fulfill her passions for dance by joining an intensive mentorship to help her grow as an artist.

Olivia Karas
Olivia Karas is a Broadcast Analyst and Digital Content Creator for the Big Ten Network and Fox Sports, bringing energy and insight to gymnastics. A former Michigan gymnast (2016-19), she helped lead the Wolverines to four Big Ten titles while earning three individual championships and six All-America honors.
She co-hosts On The Floor with Liv and Cor, a gymnastics podcast with UCLA alum Cory Tomlinson, breaking down the sport weekly.
When not covering gymnastics, Olivia enjoys trying new restaurants in Chicagoland, doing crossword puzzles, and quoting Friends perfectly. She also adores her two dogs: Toni, a sassy corgi, and Maya, a big, lovable golden retriever.

Gracie Kramer
Gracie Kramer competed on floor and vault for UCLA Gymnastics from 2016–2020, earning an NCAA Championship, three All-America honors, and a perfect 10 in her senior season. Known for her eccentric floor routines and high-level tumbling, she was also a three-time Pac-12 Academic Honoree.
Since graduating, Gracie has pursued a career in entertainment, stunts, and social media, inspiring others to step outside their comfort zones and embrace growth.
She is a TV host for Red Bull, traveling the world to interview extreme athletes and share their stories. Gracie creates a platform for discussions on mental health, competitive excellence, and the mindset needed to thrive in sports.

Rebecca Smith
Rebecca Smith, M.A., is a former competitive gymnast turned high-performance mental coach and founder of Complete Performance Coaching and the PerformHappy program. With 20+ years of experience, she helps athletes overcome fear, build confidence, and thrive under pressure.
Her evidence-based methods have been used by USAG, NGA, Singapore Gymnastics, and top clubs worldwide to promote a healthier training culture. Rebecca is dedicated to changing youth sports by prioritizing confidence, mental well-being, and joy.
She also works with parents and coaches, providing tools to create supportive environments for athletes. When not coaching, she enjoys time at the beach with her husband and gymnast daughters, Ruby and Violet.

Cory Tomlinson
Cory Tomlinson is a dynamic marketing professional, in-stadium emcee, and podcast host with deep roots in gymnastics. He co-hosts On The Floor with Liv and Cor, covering NCAA gymnastics headlines, athlete stories, and behind-the-scenes insights.
As an in-stadium emcee, he has energized crowds at the NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Championships, Big Ten Championships, and University of Arkansas meets. His passion for the sport began at UCLA, where he was Team Manager for UCLA Gymnastics while earning a psychology degree.
Beyond the mic, Cory helps businesses, athletes, and organizations build their brands through marketing, fan engagement, and digital strategy, making him a sought-after figure in sports marketing.

Macy Toronjo
Macy Toronjo started gymnastics at the age of 5, with the dream of one day competing in college gymnastics. Through hard work and dedication she was offered a scholarship to UCLA. During her time at UCLA Macy encountered many trials and tribulations from multiple injuries, to a massive health scare with her eyes. She was able to overcome her adversities and was a solid lead off for the floor lineup during her sophomore year. She currently works in medical device sales as a clinical specialist for Abbott neuromodulation. She also works with Jill Hicks at Jill Hicks Consulting, where she mentors young women in hopes of one day achieving their dreams of competing in college gymnastics.

Sergio Restrepo-Taborda
Coach Sergio is a highly experienced gymnastics professional with a background as a Colombian National Team gymnast. He brings his expertise to the U.S. as a USAG Team Coach, working with athletes from Development Program (DP) Levels 4-10. Additionally, he is a certified USAG Acrobatics & Tumbling Coach and holds a Module B certification from Acrobatic Arts, further enhancing his ability to train and develop gymnasts at all levels.

2025 Schedule
Exact schedule is TBD. We have limited space available.
This camp will have smaller groups and rotations will be determined by age and level. On Saturday, the training hours are from 10am-4:30pm. On Sunday, the training ours are from 10am-1pm, with a special performance from 1pm-2pm. The parent schedule will be similar hours and is complimentary with the athlete’s admission ticket.
Competitive athletes will train on all 4 events and will have specialty sessions on dance, injury prevention, alignment therapy, sports nutrition, quality performance, mental skills, college recruitment & MORE!
*There will be half hour lunch break on Saturday and a 20 minute snack break on Sunday. Please bring a lunch/snacks/water bottle for both days.
